The Newest on the block.............This is a long scale (670mm) -(26 3\8 in.), and has the exterior dimensions of
the Belleville. This is where the likeness ends. Inside this guitar sits an interior soundbox and reflector, the likes of which have never been seen before.
Configured to work on the long scale
model. the reflector part of the inside box can be seen as the curved, striped piece in the soundhole.
This instrument has the long string length prefered by many guitarists coupled with the quick and loud
response of the Mystery Pacific with its interior box.
If the original interior soundbox design by Maccaferri could be called stage one, and my Mystery Pacific soundbox which is very different called
stage two, Then this would be a stage three design making this instrument the most sophisticated gypsy guitar design on the planet.
Its back and sides are of Honduras rosewood with a spruce or cedar
soundboard. The parallelogram purfling around the top is optional......
