Featuring Michael Dunn and Don Ogilvie playing many string instrument including several
Maccaferri-style guitars, a harp-guitar and a Kora all built by Michael, a National steel guitar, a Knutsen Hawaiian guitar and an oud. Django Reinhardt has been a continuing inspiration to them through
their 30 years of playing together, but recently they each have been developing an increasing interest in various flavors of world music. Some of the influences found on this CD include West African, Arabic,
Spanish, French, Hawaiian, Turkish, South American, and of course Gypsy Jazz. |
